Ethnikos Piraeus B.C. is the basketball department of the Greek multisport club of Ethnikos Piraeus or Ethnikos OFPF (''National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum''). It is based in Piraeus and its home is the Panagiotis Salpeas Gymnasium. In current season Ethnikos Piraeus plays in A2 Ethniki, the second Greek professional Basket League. The team’s colours are white and blue. ==History== During the decade of 1970, Ethnikos played in Beta Ethniki and reached close to the promotion in A Ethniki (first division). The former president of FIBA Europe George Vassilakopoulos competed in Ethnikos Piraeus. Next years Ethnikos declined and played in lowest divisions. The last years the club is promoted almost every year reaching in A2 Ethniki. Ethnikos has been promoted 3 times in 3 last years. The previous year Ethnikos was promoted in A2 winning Livadeia B.C. in one play-off game.
